Public Education

The Mental Health Association offers a variety of educational programs that are open to the public.  Topics may include information on mental illnesses, ways to cope with a mental illness, life management tools such as problem solving and anger management programs (single and multiple session programs).

Many of these programs are listed on our News and Events page.  They usually require pre-registration and some may be offered at a modest fee.

Through our Family Support Services we offer family education workshops and parent discussion groups.  These are scheduled on a monthly basis and are open to the public.  Some offerings use well-established curricula and last for multiple sessions.  The parent discussion groups examine a specific topic and are designed to be stand-alone events.
