Community Support Groups for Domestic Violence

Drop-in groups of 4-6 women provide opportunities to share information about personal experiences, receive information/handouts about pertinent topics and community resources. One-one counseling also available. Groups support women whose lives are affected by domestic violence. Alternatives for Battered Women provides a 24-hour hotline, advocacy and emergency shelter for victims and their children.

Time: Mondays and Thursdays 7- 8:30 PM; Saturdays and Wednesdays 10:00 - 11:30 AM

Fee: No fee

Facilitation: Professional and member facilitators.

Eligibility: For female victims of domestic violence
