About Linda and John Mazur:
Linda and John Mazur are the founders of The Emilee Connection, Inc., a nonprofit created in loving memory of their daughter, Emilee, who lost her life to anorexia nervosa at the age of 35. Fulfilling Emilee’s wish to have her story help others, Linda and John co-authored Emilee—The Story of a Girl and Her Family Hijacked by Anorexia, winner of the 2024 International Impact Book Award for memoir and health.
Through The Emilee Connection, they provide peer support groups, educational programs, and community events for adults with eating disorders and their families. They also co-host the podcast Once Shattered: Picking-up the Pieces, and actively advocate for greater awareness, support, and resources for mental health and eating disorder care.
